Produktbeskrivelse
Colour coding:
The range is available in 5+2 colours, so it fits perfectly into the HACCP concept (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points)
Buy using colour coding in production/packing areas can be segregated into colour zones, for example:
- Abattoir/processing: differentiate between live intake, killing halls, cold rooms and cutting areas, high risk processing, packing, etc..
- High risk process area: differentiate between floor level, work surface, processing machinery, walls, etc..
- Production lines: differentiate between product lines
A, B, & C, etc..
There is no universal code for applying colours, allowing bespoke applications that serve out customers to the greatest advantage. A wide range of articles can be employed for optimum results in hygiene maintenance. However, using a colour that contrasts to the processed product colour is preferable, e.g. blue is ideal against meat, but white not appropriate alongside milk or flour. FBK does not impose recommendations as to colour, allowing for harmony with other articles of clothing, containers, wall cladding etc..
Construction:
All raw materials for the hygiene range are approved for used in the food industry and for food contact. They comply with EC/EU regulations for “equipments used in food preparations areas,” regulations No 852/2004, and are approved by the American Food and Drug Administration (also called FDA.)
The great majority of articles conform to the European Brush Federation´s (FEIBP) regulations for hygiene brush ware,(also called the PHB Charter)
*flagged filaments are not allowed according to FEIBP/PHB
Ergonomics:
By providing a wide variety of articles, different lengths and sizes, user-friendly handgrips and economic designs, FBK promotes a better result. Articles shaped with attention to operator wellbeing are the direct result of working closely with our customers and paying attention to their needs. After all, it is those who use our articles all day long that have the final word not the designer or toolmaker.
Brush blocks:
- Solid polypropylene, no air bubbles inside the brush block, this guarantees you that the filaments are secured reliable into the brush block.
- Smooth surface, no cracks or crevices for bacteria to grow.
Best manufacturing practice obviates the need for additional resin set material for both filament retention and hygiene purposes
Brush filaments/bristles:
Polyester PBT
Most widely used, superb quality.
- do not absorb water

- can be sterilised/autoclaved
- can stand up to 134° Celsius
- excellent wear resistance
- excellent bend recovery
Polyester PET
(only for internal thread)
Used in the large brooms
- do not absorb water
- do not lose stiffness in wet condition
- can be sterilised/autoclaved
- can stand up to 134° Celsius
- excellent wear resistance
- not as good bend recovery as Polyester PBT
Polypropylene
Alternative to Polyester PBT, but not as good.
- do not absorb water
- do not lose stiffness in wet condition
- can be sterilised, but not autoclaved
- can stand up to 100° Celsius
- not as good wear resistance as Polyester PBT
- not as good bend recovery as Polyester PBT
